According to Singh, the spaces near Sectors 1, 3 and 5 will solve the parking problems near the Metro stations connecting these sectors. About the interstate bus terminal, Singh said, “As UPSRTC was not able to construct the terminal, we have acquired the 8-acre land from it to build a modernised terminal. We want it to be the best in the country. As the traffic chaos has reduced after the Metro arrived here, our effort is to give a strong public transport system to Noida.” The farmers, whose land has been acquired, will get 5 per cent of the land, officials said. This 5 per cent land will fall under the residential category. The Authority has also sent the UP government a proposal to allow the farmers to use 50 per cent of the 5 per cent land for purposes like running a clinic, dispensary, paying guest accommodation, child care centres, etc.
