Is it worth investing 50-55 lakh for a 2BHK in sector 50?

Hello,

I'm planning to buy a ready to move in property. Its not for investment purposes but for living. I will really appreciate if anyone can advise me on the same.

I've been searching in sector 50 and prices for 2 BHK are around 55L. Is it worth buying at this price? Nny other area worth considering with good flats where prices are a bit moderate?

Someone suggested sectors 44 and 61, any ideas about these(I've ruled out Indirapuram and expressway). Suggestions will be highly appreciated as I'm a newbie in this field and have no idea whatsoever.

I booked flat in Noida last week , it was 2BHK and it cost me Rs 29 Lakh and possession will be in 2011. I did lot of R & D and it seems that location will be very good after 2 years. It is around 2-3 km from sector-50 so for 2-3 km, if it is saving 15 lakh then it is worth to go away 2-3 km.

Both the IT and the real estate bubbles are going to burst by this year end; or going to get deflated; this is not the time to purchase property; wait another 6 months to 1 year as prices are going downwards or stagnant; drive a hard bargain to get a good deal; what you are getting is a bad deal at this price; 2BHK in noida should not cost about 35 lakhs; this is not dubai or manhattan; just wait till year end to see the market collapse here like in usa.

the price you are getting is at the top end of the boom cycle of noida real estate property curve; if you are not in a hurry to buy, wait till this year end (2009) at least as there are high chances of prices falling by that time; at least there is no chance of prices increasing from what you are getting now; or risk loosing your money if you have enough cash to throw.
